Wood Door Warranty

Optimize Garage Doors warrants Custom Wood Doors & Gates to the original purchaser, under normal conditions and use for the following period(s). Sections are warranted against, defect in workmanship or material for a period of one (1) year. Hardware and components are warranted against defects in workmanship and material for a period of one (1) year. All warranty periods are effective from the date of purchase. This limited warranty is made to the original dealer of the product only, and is not transferable or assignable.

Manufacture’s obligations under this limited warranty are strictly limited to repair or replacement, at its option, any part and component which is determined by Manufacture to be defective during the applicable warranty period.

This limited warranty excludes: any damage resulting from scratching, abrasion or impact by any hard object, and any fading or color change which may not be uniform due to unequal exposure of the door sections to sunlight or other elements. Damage or deterioration caused by exposure to salt water, chemical fumes or other corrosive or aggressive environments, whether naturally occurring or man-made, including, but not limited to, environments with a high degree of humidity, sand, dirt or grease. Damages caused by improper installation or maintenance. This warranty does not apply to any alteration or repair of the Product, or to any Product or component which has been damaged or deteriorated due to misuse, neglect, accident, failure to provide maintenance, normal wear and tear, or any other cause beyond the direct control of the Manufacture.

Finishing requirements: This limited warranty excludes damages if product sections are not sealed or painted in accordance with instructions provided by the Manufacture. Please see Wood Door Finishing Guidelines & Instructions for proper finishing instructions. Sections must be finished within 72 hours of receipt and prior to installation. Damages that occur prior to finishing are excluded if caused by exposure to sun, water, moisture or other conditions.

THIS LIMITED WARRANTY EXCLUDES THE MANUFACTURE FROM BEING HELD RESPONSIBLE OR LIABLE FOR, COLLATERAL, PUNITIVE, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, even if Manufacture has been advised of the possibility of such damages. Such excluded damages include, but are not limited to, death, injury, damages to property, or damages occurring from loss of use of any product, property or facility, loss of goodwill, loss of profits, cost of any substitute product, interruption of business, or other similar indirect financial loss. ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE ARE EXCLUDED.

In the event of a claim under this warranty contact to the dealer whose name and address appear below must be made promptly after discovery, within the applicable warranty period, and within ten (10) days from discovery of the defect. The manufacturer reserves the right to inspect all products alleged to be defective and to verify eligibility of this limited warranty. Proof of the purchase and/or installation date, and identification as the original dealer, may be required.
